Pro Moving Services Inc.(“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through https://promovingservices.ca, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
This website does not collect personal information
There is no contact form, no newsletter sign-up and no account system on this website. You cannot submit personal information to us through it, because there is nothing here to submit it with.
Our cost estimator runs entirely in your browser. The selections you make in it are never transmitted to us and are never stored anywhere.
What we collect when you call
When you phone us for a quote we take down what is needed to price and schedule a move: your name, phone number, your move date, your origin and destination addresses, the size of your home, and any access details you mention. If you go on to book, we record the information required for your bill of lading.
- To prepare your quote and confirm it in writing.
- To contact you about that quote and, if you book, to schedule and run the move.
- To meet our legal, insurance and bill-of-lading record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have separately asked us to.
Who we share it with
Your details are shared only with the staff and crew who need them to quote or perform your move, and with service providers that operate our internal systems. Those providers act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes.
We may disclose information where required by law, or where necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep it
Quotes that do not convert are retained for up to 24 months. Records for completed moves are retained for seven years to satisfy tax, insurance and cargo-claim requirements.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies as delivered. If analytics or advertising tools are added later, this section — and a cookie consent mechanism where required — must be updated before those tools are enabled.
Security
This website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to customer records held in our internal systems is restricted to staff who need it.
Your rights
