Full-home, fragiles-only, and unpacking
Packing takes most people three to four times longer than they plan for, and it is the part of the move that decides whether anything arrives broken. A dinner plate packed flat instead of on edge will crack; a half-filled carton will collapse under the one above it.
Our packers arrive with everything — cartons, dish packs, paper, bubble wrap, tape and wardrobe boxes — and pack a typical three-bedroom Ottawa home in a single day, normally the day before the move so loading starts on time.
The part that matters most on a claim: anything we pack is covered against breakage. Cartons you packed yourself are covered for loss and handling damage, but not for what breaks inside a box we never saw.
Cartons, dish packs, packing paper, bubble wrap, tape and wardrobe boxes all come with the crew. There is no last-minute run to a big-box store the night before.
Kitchens, artwork, glass, mirrors and electronics take the longest and break the most often. Many customers pack their own clothes and books and hand us only the rooms that carry real risk.
Items packed by our crew are covered against breakage under our cargo protection. That coverage does not extend to cartons packed by the customer — which is the practical reason to have us do the fragiles.
At the other end we unpack, place items in cupboards and closets, and take every empty carton away the same evening. You sleep in a finished house on night one.

Every move we run follows the same sequence. You always know what happens next and what it costs.
About 5 minutes
Give us the date, both addresses and roughly how much there is. A move consultant picks up seven days a week — no forms, no callback queue.
Same conversation
We confirm access, stairs, elevators and parking, size the crew, then quote you. Larger homes get a free video or in-home survey and a guaranteed flat price.
Move day, 7am–8pm
Your crew arrives inside a two-hour window, walks the home with you, lays floor runners, and blanket-wraps every piece before it leaves the room.
Same day
Furniture goes where you want it, beds go back together, and boxes land in the right rooms. You sign off only once you have walked the truck and it is empty.

Packed our condo in a single afternoon
I booked packers two days before the move because I'd badly misjudged how long a kitchen takes. Two packers arrived with all the materials and were done by 4pm. Every box was labelled by room. Genuinely the best money I spent on the whole move.
Booked on Tuesday, moved on Thursday
Our closing got moved up with almost no notice and everyone else I called was full. They had a crew available in 48 hours and still showed up on time with a proper truck. Saved us from a hotel week.
Great crew, tight parking on Montreal Road
The crew was excellent and careful. Only note is that parking on Montreal Road cost us about 40 minutes of shuttle time — worth arranging a permit in advance if you're downtown. They warned me about it beforehand, to be fair.

(613) 704-7378Packing is $95 per hour for a two-packer team with all materials included. A two-bedroom condo is typically 4 to 5 hours and a three-bedroom house a single day, so most Ottawa homes land between $400 and $900.
Yes, that is the standard and it is the better plan. Packing the day before means the moving crew can start loading the moment they arrive instead of waiting on a half-finished kitchen, which saves you time on the hourly moving rate.
Yes. Unpacking includes placing items into cupboards, closets and shelves, plus removing every empty carton and all packing debris the same day. It is booked separately and it is the most under-rated service we offer.
