Commercial relocation across the National Capital Region
Office Movers in Ottawa — Back Online by Monday
An office move is judged on one question: was the business working the next morning? Everything else — the crates, the floor plan, the labelling — exists to make that answer yes.
We move federal and provincial offices in the core, professional firms in Westboro and Nepean, clinics across the suburbs and tech companies along March Road. The scale differs; the method does not. One project lead, a written schedule, a labelled floor plan, and a Friday-to-Sunday window so nobody loses a working day.
Every commercial move starts with a free on-site survey, because a walkthrough finds the freight elevator that is out of service and the server room nobody mentioned.
Free site survey and written plan
We walk both spaces, confirm elevator and dock access, count workstations, and issue a written relocation plan with a named project lead before you commit to anything.
Evenings and weekends at no premium
Load Friday evening, transit overnight, set up Saturday and Sunday. Staff arrive Monday to a working desk. There is no after-hours surcharge on commercial work.
Crates, floor plans and desk-level labelling
Reusable plastic crates are delivered a week ahead. Colour-coded floor plans mean every crate, monitor and chair lands at the right desk instead of in a pile in reception.
IT handled with your team
Decommission, anti-static transport and placement ready for reconnection, sequenced with your internal IT or managed service provider so the shutdown and bring-up schedules actually line up.
Insurance certificates for both buildings
Call us with the property managers' requirements and we issue certificates naming each building, usually within one business day. It is the most common cause of a delayed move-in date and the easiest to avoid.
Secure records and confidential files
Filing cabinets and records move sealed and inventoried, with chain-of-custody documentation where your retention policy requires it.

1
About 5 minutes
Call and tell us the basics
Give us the date, both addresses and roughly how much there is. A move consultant picks up seven days a week — no forms, no callback queue.
2
Same conversation
Get your price on the call
We confirm access, stairs, elevators and parking, size the crew, then quote you. Larger homes get a free video or in-home survey and a guaranteed flat price.
3
Move day, 7am–8pm
We plan and protect
Your crew arrives inside a two-hour window, walks the home with you, lays floor runners, and blanket-wraps every piece before it leaves the room.
4
Same day
Placed, reassembled, done
Furniture goes where you want it, beds go back together, and boxes land in the right rooms. You sign off only once you have walked the truck and it is empty.

Packed our condo in a single afternoon
I booked packers two days before the move because I'd badly misjudged how long a kitchen takes. Two packers arrived with all the materials and were done by 4pm. Every box was labelled by room. Genuinely the best money I spent on the whole move.

Booked on Tuesday, moved on Thursday
Our closing got moved up with almost no notice and everyone else I called was full. They had a crew available in 48 hours and still showed up on time with a proper truck. Saved us from a hotel week.

Great crew, tight parking on Montreal Road
The crew was excellent and careful. Only note is that parking on Montreal Road cost us about 40 minutes of shuttle time — worth arranging a permit in advance if you're downtown. They warned me about it beforehand, to be fair.

Ottawa Moving FAQ
What people ask us most often about moving in Ottawa.
Still have a question?
Talk to a real move consultant in Ottawa — Mon–Sat 7am–8pm · Sun 8am–6pm.
Commercial moves are quoted as a fixed project price after a free site survey rather than hourly, because the variables are access, timing and IT rather than volume alone. As a rough guide, a 20-person office typically lands between $4,500 and $9,000 including crates, labelling and weekend scheduling.
How far ahead should we book an office relocation?
Four to eight weeks for anything over 15 staff. That leaves room for the site survey, the crate delivery, building approvals and insurance certificates. We have handled two-week turnarounds, but the compressed timeline removes most of the contingency.
Can you move us without any downtime?
In most cases yes. The standard pattern is a Friday evening load, an overnight or Saturday transit, and a Sunday set-up so staff walk into a working desk on Monday. Larger relocations are phased department by department across consecutive weekends.
Do you move server rooms and network equipment?
Yes. Racks and network equipment are decommissioned, transported in anti-static packaging and placed ready for reconnection. We work to your IT team's shutdown and bring-up sequence rather than imposing our own.
