Ottawa is not one moving market, it is about six. A third-floor walk-up in Sandy Hill has nothing in common with a 2,600 square-foot house in Kanata, a condo tower on Richmond Road, or a forty-desk office off Merivale. Quoting them all off the same generic script is how moves run four hours long.
We have been doing this here since 2011. That means we know which downtown streets need a City of Ottawa parking permit, which condo buildings need the elevator booked two weeks out, how badly the last weekend of June books up, and what Quebec's July 1 turnover does to capacity across the river in Gatineau.
The result is a written estimate you can plan around and an invoice that matches it. Whether you need residential movers, office movers in Ottawa, or long-distance movers heading to Toronto or Montreal, the crew standard and the pricing model are the same.
What we do
Six services, one crew standard. Whether it is a one-bedroom in Centretown or a forty-desk office off Merivale, the same insured, uniformed team shows up.

Learn moreWhy choose us
Moving companies are easy to start and hard to do well. These are the six things customers tell us actually separated us from the last company they used.
You get a written estimate before you book, and the final bill matches it. No fuel surcharge added at the door, no stair fee invented on the driveway, no weight re-quote once the truck is loaded.
$2M in cargo protection and $5M in liability. Every crew member is covered under WSIB, so a workplace injury on your property is never your exposure.
Our movers are trained, background-checked, uniformed employees on payroll. We do not subcontract your move to a crew we met that morning, and we do not hand your shipment to a third party.
A two-hour arrival window, confirmed the day before, with the crew lead's direct number. If traffic on the 417 changes anything, you hear it from us before you have to ask.
Downtown parking permits, condo elevator bookings on Richmond Road, Westboro's narrow streets, Quebec's July 1 turnover. 15 years of local moves is mostly 15 years of knowing what goes wrong here.
Bilingual crews and bilingual paperwork, which matters in Orléans and Vanier and becomes essential the moment your move crosses the river into Gatineau.
Our moving process
Every move we run follows the same sequence. You always know what happens next and what it costs.
About 5 minutes
Give us the date, both addresses and roughly how much there is. A move consultant picks up seven days a week — no forms, no callback queue.
Same conversation
We confirm access, stairs, elevators and parking, size the crew, then quote you. Larger homes get a free video or in-home survey and a guaranteed flat price.
Move day, 7am–8pm
Your crew arrives inside a two-hour window, walks the home with you, lays floor runners, and blanket-wraps every piece before it leaves the room.
Same day
Furniture goes where you want it, beds go back together, and boxes land in the right rooms. You sign off only once you have walked the truck and it is empty.
Instant cost estimator
Move the four controls and watch the number update. It uses the same rate card our consultants quote from, so the range you see here is the range you should expect in writing.

Three floors, no elevator, no drama
We were on the third floor of a walk-up on Churchill with a piano landing that has defeated two previous movers. The crew looked at it, took the railing off, and had the whole apartment loaded in four hours. Final invoice came in under the estimate.
Kanata to Barrhaven in one day
Four bedrooms out of Bridlewood and into Half Moon Bay, done between 8am and 5pm. They wrapped every piece of furniture before it left the house, which I'd never seen a mover actually bother to do. Nothing was scratched.
Packed our condo in a single afternoon
I booked packers two days before the move because I'd badly misjudged how long a kitchen takes. Two packers arrived with all the materials and were done by 4pm. Every box was labelled by room. Genuinely the best money I spent on the whole move.
Office of 40 relocated over a weekend
We moved our whole operation off Merivale on a Friday night and were fully operational Monday at 8am. The crate delivery and floor-plan labelling made it painless. Building management got their certificate of insurance without me having to chase anyone.
Bilingue et parfaitement ponctuel
Déménagement d'Aylmer vers le Plateau. L'équipe était bilingue, ponctuelle et très soigneuse avec nos meubles anciens. Le prix final correspondait exactement à l'estimation reçue par courriel.
They moved my parents with real patience
After 41 years in the same house on Jeanne d'Arc, my parents downsized into a residence. The coordinator sat with them for two hours planning what would fit. On move day nobody rushed my mother once. Beds were made before the crew left.
Areas we serve
One crew standard across every community we cover — from Centretown walk-ups to Kanata new builds and across the river into Gatineau.
Also serving: Hull · Aylmer · Gloucester · Vanier · Manotick · Riverside South · Greely · Carp · Richmond · Munster · Cumberland · Navan · Rockland · Embrun · Russell · Kemptville · Almonte · Carleton Place · Chelsea · Casselman. See every community we cover.
Last-minute & emergency moves
We deliberately hold reserve capacity every single day, which is why a 24 to 48 hour turnaround is realistic with us when the rest of the city is booked. Same hourly rate — there is no panic premium.
Short-notice jobs are dispatched straight from the phone — call as early in the day as you can.
The load goes into heated storage the same day and comes back out on 48 hours' notice once your new date is confirmed.
It happens more than the industry admits. We hold reserve crews daily and can frequently cover the job within 24 to 48 hours.
We send packers alongside the movers with all materials on the truck. An unpacked home is not a reason we cannot come.

(613) 704-7378Local Ottawa moves are billed hourly. A two-mover crew with a truck starts at $150 per hour, three movers at $195 and four at $240, plus a one-time $95 travel charge that covers getting the truck to you and back. A typical two-bedroom apartment runs 4–6 hours, and a three-bedroom house 7–9 hours. Long-distance moves are quoted as a guaranteed flat price instead of hourly. Use our estimator for an instant range, then call us for a real quote on your specific move.
Two to four weeks is comfortable for most of the year. Ottawa's demand spikes hard around the end of every month, the last weekend of June and the September student turnover, so for those dates book six to eight weeks out. We also hold capacity for last-minute moves and can often cover a job within 24 to 48 hours.
Yes. We carry $2,000,000 in cargo coverage and $5,000,000 in general liability, and every crew member is covered under WSIB. Basic replacement-value protection is included on every move at no charge, and full-value protection can be added for high-value shipments. Damage claims are filed with our office directly and we do not require you to chase a third-party insurer.
No. Stairs, elevators and long walks from the door to the truck take time, and time is already what you are paying for on an hourly move. We build them into the estimate up front so the number you are quoted is the number you plan around. There are no separate stair fees, fuel surcharges or heavy-item fees invented on move day.
Yes, at the same hourly rate as a weekday. We run Monday to Saturday from 7am to 8pm and Sunday from 8am to 6pm, including most statutory holidays. Commercial moves are frequently scheduled overnight or across a weekend so staff walk into a working office, and we do not charge a premium for that.
By law we cannot transport propane tanks, gasoline, paint, aerosols, ammunition, fireworks or other flammables and hazardous goods. We also ask that you personally carry cash, jewellery, passports, prescriptions and irreplaceable documents. Live plants can be moved locally but not on long-distance runs where they will be in the truck overnight.
Clothing can stay in dresser drawers for a local move — leave it. Please empty anything with liquids, glass, electronics or documents, and empty filing cabinets and desks completely. For long-distance moves everything comes out of drawers, because the contents shift over hundreds of kilometres.
For downtown Ottawa addresses we will tell you whether a City of Ottawa temporary no-parking permit is worth arranging, and we can apply for one on your behalf. For condos and apartments we book the service elevator and loading dock with building management ahead of the date, and we provide the certificate of insurance that almost every Ottawa property manager asks for.
Yes. Upright pianos, gun safes, treadmills and slate pool tables are routine for us with the right equipment and crew size, and we do not add a surprise heavy-item fee. Tell us about it when you book so we can send the fourth mover and the proper skids and straps, rather than discovering it in the living room on move day.
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Interac e-Transfer and debit on completion of the move. Commercial and corporate accounts can be invoiced on net-30 terms. A deposit is only required for long-distance moves and peak end-of-month dates, and it is applied in full against your final invoice.
One call, about five minutes. Tell us the date and the two addresses and you get a real price on the spot — no deposit, no obligation, no pressure.
